Radoslav Kvapil is the elder statesman of Czech pianists. His many recordings of the piano music of his homeland for Supraphon, Calliope, ASV, Unicorn, and other independent labels have consistently been praised by critics as the performances of choice.

Musical Concepts is pleased to release the second six-disc volume of the Anthology of Czech Piano Music, including Kvapil's penetrating, definitive recordings of piano music by Dvorak, Martinu, Fibich, Smetana, and Vorisek.  Includes two discs of Dvorak music played on the composer's own Bosendorfer piano.

The first six-disc volume includes hard-to-find, acclaimed recordings originally issued by Unicorn Records that returned to the catalogue after an absence of nearly two decades.

Both sets are an essential addition to the library of all piano music lovers.
